FEATURES
aquastyl sinks are a perfect complement in the kitchen due to their texture (granite appearance), range of colours and special qualities, such as: lack of porosity; resistance to chemicals commonly found in the kitchen (bleach, acids, solvents, etc.); resistance to scratches in normal use; resistance to impact (knocks and bumps from pots, pans, cutlery etc.); resistance to stains and discolouration; resistance to high temperatures (180-280ºC) and thermal shock.
Our commitment to quality has been acknowledged with the award of ISO 9001: 2000
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Normal everyday use will not cause a problem to your sink and observing the following simple instructions will help to maintain it in excellent condition.
DAILY CARE
Simply use a moist cleaning cloth and a small amount of detergent or other suitable cleaning product.
More stubborn stains can be removed by the use of a multi-purpose cream
cleanser, bleach or other detergent and rubbing with a soft pad. The surface
will return to its original condition.
Abrasive scouring pads should not be used for cleaning Roc and Quartz sinks
as they could remove the high gloss appearance of the surface. These types
of pads will not affect Granit sinks.
White stains due to hard water should be cleaned by filling the bowl with a solution of water and vinegar (or any other mild acid) and leaving it for several hours.
SCRATCHING
aquastyl products have good resistance to scratching. Normal day-to-day use of kitchen instruments will not affect the surface of the sink.
The higher proportion of quartz mineral particles in the Granit finish makes this material extremely resistant to sharp objects.
IMPACT
aquastyl sinks withstand the everyday knocks and bumps from pots and kitchen implements without chipping or marking.
HEAT RESISTANCE
Quartz and Roc sinks are designed to withstand temperatures up to 180º C while Granit can handle temperatures up to 280 º C.
However, hot oil or other greasy liquids should not be poured into the sink as they could damage the plastic valves and siphons.
Before placing a hot pan on the sinks, it is advisable to put some cold water at the bottom of the sink.
